Yes, I failed my third 30 day challenge, 30 Day Plank Challenge. I started off with little problem. It was tough, my arms and body did shake, but I was pushing through. Then I got sick. Started with a head cold that felt like the flu. It moved into my chest and there is sat. It sat and festered in my chest until I went to my doctor and received a prescription to clear it all up. Overall, that took about a week and a half. Not too long, but long enough to throw me off track from completing the challenge.
I attempted to jump back into it, but I could barely hold a plank for 30 seconds. I decided to make a slight adjustment. A co-worker failed at the plank challenge and instead of quitting altogether she did them in sets. Each day she did four sets of 30 second planks, not too shabby. I was impressed. Following her lead, I started with 2 sets of 20 second planks. That was approximately 2 weeks ago. Now, I’m up to 4 sets of 20 second planks!! I’m not 100% sure what my goal is, mostly I just want a strong core. I guess once I get there, I’ll let you know.
