I am happy to see February.  One month of frigid, cold weather down, only a few more to go.  So far, this winter has been cold.  I mean very cold.  So cold that my iphone dies within 15 minutes during my morning walks (haven’t started running again just yet).  Just yesterday I went out to get my steps in, I left my house around 8:37 am, it was a balmy 20 degrees!!  I have to keep my phone under my clothes, against my skin, to keep it warm enough to last through my 2.5 mile walk.  Crazy cold, for me.  I know people just a little farther up north are dealing with much harsher weather, so I won’t complain much.  I’ll just say, very happy to see you February.

Last month I was able to get a lot done around my house.  Slowly, but surely the place is not only getting clean and organized, but it’s staying that way (YAY!!).  My plans for this month include my weekly to do’s: dust, vacuum, and sweep floors, along with my monthly to do’s: Clean opening between kitchen and living room, clean dining room table, clean living room table, and clean microwave. Finally, I have my other list of things that I need to do, my once or twice a year stuff.

1. Clean Entry Table/Area
2. Wash Bathroom Rugs/Deep Clean Bathroom
3. Clean Dishwasher and Wash Pillows
4. Clean and Organize Bathroom Closet

I have to admit, I am excited about getting my bathroom closet cleaned out.  It drives me insane.  I’ve started the process many times, but I have a tendency to get a little distracted and after I’ve removed everything from each shelf, I spend the rest of my time trying to figure out what happened to all my wash cloths or when did this towel get a hole in it.  I end up just shoving everything back in there, messier and disorganized than it was before.  My plan for the bathroom closet is to finally throw away the ratty towels and sheets we no longer use.  You know the ones to take out, unfold and realize it’s yucky, ball it back up and push back into the closet.  Yeah, I’m going to toss those, or cut them up into rags.  So excited!!!
