Six Meals

Last week, I focused solely on working out 3 times a week.  I know it’s going to take more than that to put a dent in my weight or lower my blood pressure.  So this week I decided along with my workouts to change up my diet.

I’ve been on enough diets to know eating 3 times a day does not work best for me.  But I get lazy.  I’ll eat a tiny breakfast, medium lunch and a huge dinner.  This is not good for weight loss or my health in general.  When I was at my healthiest I ate 6 meals a day.  Eating something about every 2-3 hours.  Doing that jump started my metabolism.  I decided this week to get back into that habit.

On Sunday I made omelet muffins.  Super easy and makes for a healthy breakfast in the morning.  I got the recipe off pinterest somewhere, but it is pretty simple.  Spray a muffin pan (vital), throw your favorite veggies into each cup, mix up your eggs or egg whites, top with a little cheese(if you want) then bake on 350 for 20-30 minutes.  Next time I make them I’ll take pictures along the way to show how easy they are.


Had to taste test one. YUMMY!!


My my eating plan for this week:

830ish- Omelet Muffins

1030ish- yogurt

1230ish- Lunch

230ish- Cheese stick and apple

430ish- pudding cup

630ish- Dinner

I’ll probably snack on something else around 830ish.  Not sure what that’ll be.
