I was pretty happy to get my Birchbox this month.  I avoided all the clues and other reviews, I was looking forward to being surprised.

Color Club

Color Club Nail Polish  Baldwin Blues-I always love new color.  Now this does not have any shimmer, but I’m not going to complain.  The value of this polish is over half of what I spent on the box, so again, not complaining.  Value $8.00

DDF

DDF Amplifying Elixir – I love DDF products.  This is one of their items that I have not tried, mainly because of the cost.  I don’t typically want to spend $70 on a moisturizer.  Reason # 596 why I love Birchbox, you get to try things you normally wouldn’t purchase.  Value $20.60

Joie Folle de Joie eau de parfum – In my profile I have noted to receive the least amount of perfume as possible.  Since this is one of the first since I updated my profile, I cannot complain.  I’m currently ill, so I can’t even tell how this smells.  Value $1.70

theBalm Stainiac in Beauty Queen – A lip and cheek stain.  I smeared this on the back of my hand when I opened the box and loved the hint of color it provided.  Loving this. Value @$2.00

Tiossan Body Cream  Now who doesn’t love a body cream this time of year?  My skin stays dry during the cold months, so I am always welcome to keep another cream in my stash. Value $1.18

Ahmad Tea London – One of the things I grew up on was a cup of hot tea on cold winter nights.  There is just nothing else that soothes my throat and helps me float peacefully to bedtime.  Value $7.00

This box also came with a cute little Holiday catalog.  It contains great ideas for the men in your life, host gifts and quite a few other items.  I didn’t think I’d find it informative or helpful, but I found myself folding over a few page corners.

When I first looked at this box, I admit, I wasn’t all that happy.  But after going through each item, I realized that I will use just about everything (perfume has been given to my 12-year-old daughter).  Now that’s a big plus.  I spent $10.00 on this box and received over $40.00 worth of items!!
