My Ipsy Glam Bag August

I originally signed up for Birchbox, but at the time there was a waitlist. I did a google search, since I was feigning for a new subscription box and I found Ipsy.  So thankful that I did (been a member since May). Ipsy is a lot like Birchbox, but they send you a cute little makeup bag each month and a link with a discount to purchase items in your bag.  Overall, I have liked my Ipsy bags. I pay $10 and have used just about everything in them. I know at some point I’ll need to cancel one of these subscriptions, but I’ll figure that out one day.

On to the fun stuff, what did I get in this month’s bag??

I get so excited when I see this package in my mail

Noya Lip Balm -A Kosher and vanilla flavored lip balm.  This was grabbed pretty quickly by my 11 year old.  She tells me she LOVES it! Value $3.99

Pixi Lash Booster Mascara in blackest black- I actually have a mascara that I love, but why not try and see what else is out there?  One of the reasons I love getting these subscriptions is just so I don’t get stuck in a rut.  Value ??  A full size mascara is $17.00.  The sample I received does not have a size or weight on it.  Guesstimating it’s about 1/3 of full size $5.66

Pacifica Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream– These BB and CC creams are all the rage and I have been in the dark about them.  Wanting to try, but just not even sure what I wanted.  When I saw this, I was very happy!  Cannot wait to see if a BB cream is for me. Value $5.44

City Color Cheek Stain– Now this is one of those things I don’t think I would buy on my own.  The color looks a bit too bright for me and I am content with the colors I have.  But as all things new, I’m willing to give it a try.  I applied this and was pleasantly surprised how it looked on my skin. Value $2.99

Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub– One of the things I cannot walk away from is a facial scrub.  I am hooked on them!  Cannot get enough of them. Value $5.30

Very, very happy with this bag.  It’s full of things I will use and to top it all off the total value is approximately $23.38
