My August Birchbox

I’m in love! I am absolutely head over heels in love with this months Birchbox.  I know, a bit over dramatic.  I’m just super happy that I got a box full of things I want to try.  For once, I see a use for each and every item in the box. I paid $10 for this, the big question is, did I get my money’s worth??

Whish Deodorant Swipe– I don’t know about you, but if I am slightly thrown off my morning routine (kids need me, husband can’t find something), I’ll forget to put deodorant on.  I’ve made my way to work on more than one occasion only to find myself deodorant less.  I will keep this one in my purse for such emergencies.  Value $1.25/ $16.00 for a box of 20 on Birchbox 

Coastal Scents Eyeshadow– Four complementary shades that can be worn alone or layered for a smokey look.  I’m pretty basic when it comes to eye makeup, but since I got it, I’ll definitely try it. Value @$3.90

Juice Beauty Oil Free Moisturizer

Juice Beauty Oil Free Moisturizer– Oil-free lotion hydrates oily and blemish-prone skin with natural antioxidants and hyaluronic acid. This could not have come at a better time.  I have oily skin, but occasionally I’ll have a dry spot.  I don’t normally notice these spots until I am away from the house.  I’m super happy to throw this in my purse for those just in case moments. Value $7.00

Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper

Curl Keeper– A water-based, weightless serum that keeps curls shiny, defined and frizz-free. This curly haired girl was very excited to see this.  I am a self proclaimed product junkie and I am always on the search for something to help keep my curls moisturized and under control. Value $2.18

Whish Exfoliating Body Wash

Whish Exfoliating Body Wash– A coconut-rich scrub that brightens and exfoliates with sugar cane and bamboo powder.  Not much to say about this, who doesn’t need a body wash? Value $2.75

I paid $10 and received approximately $17.08 worth of products that I will definitely use.  This box also included a discount coupon to Ann Taylor, 20% off one item and 30% off two or more. This month is a hit for me!!  Did you enjoy your Birchbox this month?
