I am Racing for a Cause!!!

I am running the Baltimore Half Marathon for the University of Maryland Children’s Heart Program. After signing up to raise money for this charity, I’ll admit, all I could think of was crossing something off my list of 50 things (or 49). It wasn’t until I looked over my list that I realized racing for a cause was not on there. I think I read it on someone else’s list and made a mental note that I would like to do that…one day. I just didn’t know then, that one day would be my first half marathon. I’m pretty excited. Completing the race will leave me overjoyed and knowing that I was able to raise a small amount of money for children, will definitely put me over the top emotionally.
